Why do I host these meetups?

Because life can be overwhelming.
Because we are all carrying something unseen.
Because sometimes we just need a place to be.

Not to impress.
Not to perform.
Not to keep up appearances.

But to arrive… exactly as we are.
Human.
Real.

And this is what I love most about these gatherings.
Nobody comes here in their work roles or social masks.
Nobody needs to pretend.

Here we meet in nature.
We meet in our raw aliveness.
We meet in our courage, even when it’s shaky.

We face a common enemy: the cold.
And in doing so, we drop our defenses.
We meet each other beyond words, beyond roles, beyond stories. Stripped down to the basics.

We breathe.
We tremble.
We step in.

And in that shared challenge, something beautiful happens:

Strangers become allies.
Resistance becomes resilience.
Fear turns into fierce aliveness.

This is not about proving anything.
It’s about remembering…

That we can do hard things.
That we are not alone.
That our bodies, hearts, and spirits are far more powerful than we think.

Sometimes there’s laughter.
Sometimes there are tears.
Everything is welcome.

This is a space where strangers cheer each other on.
Where kindness is natural.
Where we remember that the simplest moments are often the most precious:

A breath shared.

A smile exchanged.

A hand reaching out in support.

There’s no need to numb or escape here. No filters, no substances, no performances.
Just breath, presence, and the alchemy of cold and connection.
And yet, everyone leaves lighter. Smiling. Filled with something real.

We gather like this once a month, a circle of humans choosing presence over performance, connection over distraction.

It’s not always easy to come. Sometimes life pulls us in other directions. That’s okay.

But when you do show up: Magic happens.

You leave remembering who you are beneath it all.
Brave.
Kind.
Alive.

A shiny diamond, shaped not by perfection, but by presence.

So this is for you, the ones who show up.

Whether you’ve come once, or every time.
Whether you came shaking with nerves, or smiling with excitement.

Your courage, your kindness, your presence
are what keep this light burning.

You showed up not just for yourself but for others.

You are The Tribe of Shiny Diamonds.
A community like no other I know.

You remind me why I do this.
You remind each other that we belong.

“Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit;
the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to heal each other.
No matter how difficult it is…
Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.”
Pope Francis

If your heart feels called… You are already part of it.
